15TH MAY 2024 | BY HAYLEY KEEBER
When it comes to owning a business online, being visible is an absolute must. Now, I understand it isn't everyone's favourite subject, but if you want your ideal clients to find you, then you are going to have to get comfortable getting to know your audience a bit more.
It has been predicted that the businesses which are more likely to survive in the next few years are businesses with a personal brand.
Now AI has taken over the world, people are not going to trust a robot and will crave a deeper connection with the companies they spend money with.
The good news is, there are lots of different ways you can become visible.
In this blog, I am going to tell you 5 ways you can get your ideal client to know, like and trust you.
Being visible isnt about baring all - its about showcasing your knowledge
All too often, people think, in order to be visible in your business, you need to show every aspect of your life. This is simply not true.
Let's look at 5 ways you can become visible within your business.
- Social Media
Showing up on social media is the best way to reach your ideal client. Posting regularly, showing up on stories, going live, collaborating, networking - the list is endless.
You do not just have to use your profile either! You can create a free, private Facebook group to host your training etc. Making it more intimate just for you and your clients.
**Remember - you do not have to put every aspect of your life on social media. Only enough so your audience can know, like and trust you. Show some personality and people will feel far more connected to you.
- Blogs
Blogging is a great way for people to learn from you. Offering this free resource shows you know your stuff, teaches your audience and can also be sent to publications for PR. Not to mention, it's great for SEO and driving traffic to your website.
- Podcasts
Both starting and getting on people's podcasts is another great way to showcase your expertise and your business to a wider audience. As podcasts are still free to listen to, your ideal client will love to listen to you whilst in the car or cleaning their house and you don't have to show your face!
- PR
PR is a huge topic and is a whole blog to itself. But, being published in newspapers, magazines, radio, television etc. will not only show you as an expert in your field, it will reach a wider audience and give you the credibility to be trusted.
- Emails
Last but not least, emails. This is my number one favourite way to be visible. If you do not currently have an email list, you are missing a huge trick! People still check their emails and read through what comes in. The list is yours to, so if Mark decides to close down Facebook one day - you will not lose your audience!
Having a multi-layerd visibilty strategy is so important to the longevity of your business.
Reaching new audiences is key if you want to keep growing your business to a point where you can sip cocktails on a beach every week.
